For those ready to leave the trails and explore by water, the Introduction to Everglades Wet Walk is the ideal tour. Slogging through the slough (pronounced sloo or slew) offers a unique perspective into the strand. Prepare to be dazzled by the clarity of the water, the beauty of the plants below the surface and of course, those above. Rare, epiphytic ferns, bromeliads and orchids make every wet walk a unique and exciting treasure hunt.
