Our Story

TNT Explore Nature is the result of many years of evolution in our independent professional careers and married personal life. Exploring nature together is what connected us right from the beginning, and it is what inspires us to continually renew our connection to each other, and to nature.

Like any team, we each possess unique strengths, which consolidate to produce high-quality outcomes. Our professional education experience, combined with our naturalist certifications, and our knowledge and familiarity of the Everglades, enable us to provide the best quality eco-tours.

Always an animal lover!

Tony has been an avid outdoorsman for as long as he can remember. As a young boy, growing up in Arizona, Tony spent his days in pursuit of, and caring for, his vast collection of creepy-crawlies. What is the strangest critter for which he has cared? Scorpions!

A perfect partnership!

Each introduced the other to aspects of the outdoors neither had previously experienced. Together they explored new activities and grew their love of the outdoors, nature, and each other. Both are certified Master Naturalists in the states of Florida & Michigan, and hold a combined 50 years of experience in the Everglades. It was really only a matter of time until they took a leap. Aqua-gal!

Theresa has always been attracted to and lived near water. Growing up in Michigan that is not hard to do. If there is a water sport or activity, Theresa has likely tried it. She is a certified Scuba diver who loves to waterski. Her favorite? Kayaking!
